KSHIRSAGAR & MILK SHAKES

Inspite of my strong resolve to jot my dreams down, it sure has been a tough ask for me to reach for a pen and a paper and ink dreams which vaporize faster before you can say "good morning".
This time around, a severe cold( blocked nostrils which broke banks without notice to let the cream flood out & a cough which i was infected with over the phone, thanks to two lazy buddies in kota n baroda who chose to infect me with it rather than visit a doc!) [yeah strange!!! viral infection can pass over the phone if the person at the other end is a good friend...[:)] ]

I was at golu's room (saurabh) this fri eve. I had promised i would be over there and kept my word inspite of a solid cold. The reason -- why fall sick all alone.. infect all your buddies and when i left on sunday noon i had a couple of guys coughing ..LOL )

Saturday noon, post lunch siesta was when i boarded the hogwarts express into dreamland.
SCENE 1:
I ,golu, panky,shailu,ritesh,piyu (new entries into the blog) and all others strolling near a area called swargate in pune. The roads were being widened and a hotel(which doesn't exist in reality there) is chopped down.
I guess i have mixed up this in my dreams from the actual road widening which took place at my hometown hyderabad,india.

SCENE 2:
The others except for me and golu, scoot off elsewhere. Golu n I visit a restaurant.
-- golu tries to climb two steps at a time and err,, pulls a muscle or two.
I ask for a glass of warm milk and golu for a chilled milk.
The restaurant owner expresses his inability to serve chilled milk but strangely they do have a range of milk shakes!!!!
Golu asks a waiter ( a small boy ) why he didnt show him the menu.
The owner/chef offers to add various fruit slices to the shake. With an option to get a custom milk shake golu tries to pick up a good number of fruits (oranges) and drops them on the floor.

SCENE 3:
I have a milkshake and then go for a cup of tea!!! It was around this time that i was in the twilight of dreamland- partially awake and partially asleep.In trying to resolve what exactly i was having, my dream breaks and gravity pulls me back into the real world.

DECEMBER 26-27

As has been my habit of late I find myself awake very early these days.

This saturday the 27^th of december was one such day.(come a holiday and some how most of us are up early compared to working days when the alarm rings itself out :D )

it must have been a few minutes past 4.

This time around I grabbed my pen and the nearest lying paper ( the top page of the TOI). Turned on the torch in my cell phone and started scribbling the various scenes which had flashed in my dreams and were vaporizing soon enough.

Compared to my previous attempt at documenting my dreams this one was I must say, a great improvement.

Scene 1:

I find my self at the railway station face to face with a man ( who appears like deven bhojani of dekh bhai dekh and office office fame on indian telly).Now I get a feeling that I know this chap but he ignores my presence and is probably waiting for a cousin.

Scene 2:

A person waiting at a railway station and a few ladies walking

scene 3:

I see a jurassic age bird attacking a vulture which successfully repels the attack

scene 4:

I am in an altercation with a friend regarding a legal agreement we were supposed to get done.

The chap gives a silly reason that I had already made the document with another person's name on it and I try to explain to him that what he might have seen must be a fake as on my questioning about the presence of any official seal on it, he replies in the negative.

This last one was really exhausting as i and my friend were about to come to blows LOL

apart from the last one , i cant find any explanation for the others

HOW IT ALL BEGAN?

I woke up from my sleep in the early hours of 25th december. The dream was fresh in my mind.

I frantically searched for a pen to scribble down the two names..(which ended in the name "deep".

In the dark i first jotted the names on my palm and then onto a news paper lying nearby.

Right from childhood i had noticed that my dreams basically fell into two broad types.

The ones which i had during my uninterrupted sleep. and the others,which were more exhausting,which occured after i had slept again after getting up for a water break.

It was this second category which were and still are amongst the weirdest i have had.

The former kind, the ones i had during my uninterrupted sleep would vaporize within a minute of my waking up. The second ones, though similarly volatile would hang around for a while and then one by one all the details would slowly kind of self erase them, except for a view or two.

But this time around i had made up my mind to record it immediately.

Apart from the two names which were flashing i also had a vivid recollection of seeing a blogger page, blue in colour. I had visions of me playing with colours ( this happens in india during the festival of holi). I also remember coming face to face with people i wouldn't like to be with.

I was trying to force myself to get up and start writing but gave in reassuring myself that the first thing i would do when i get up was to jot the dream down but that was not to be.

But now my resolve is stronger than before.

I have already started on one of my new year resolutions, the result of which is the creation of this blog and a couple more.

I intend to blog 365 days a year from now on..( or atleast make sure that i have 365 posts on all my blogs put together.

Dreams- still a mystery!

why we dream still remains a mystery in medical science.
in my case i have noticed that  at times i get up in the middle of night feeling refreshed.
And when i force myself to sleep again, it is then that i get  really intense and weird dreams..
Henceforth i have decided to blog them.. as these dreams quickly vaporize once i am awake .
